I think each of us have something within, kept under our blankets and painted over with excuses and fear of rejection. We hide it away and we keep our ideas to ourselves and we think we’re doing the right thing, but maybe we’re not. I’ve learned recently that voicing ideas and visions is much more valuable than what you and I can see immediately. What if that idea turns into an organization that is someone’s last hope? What if that idea creates an invention that saves lives all over the world? What if that concept shapes how a generation looks at poverty or success or life? What if your idea changes the world? I want to be someone who changes the lens through which people view the world. I want to have something within me that creates the miracles. I want to inspire and be inspired. I see now that maybe those ideas that I keep to myself might deserve a chance to be heard.
“What lies before us and what lies behind us are small matters compared to what lies within us. And when you bring what is within out into the world, miracles happen.” – Henry David Thoreau
